Your consultation
The consultation is your first opportunity to discuss the nose you wish for, however, it often takes more than one consultation prior to surgery, to understand the planned operation and obtain a feel for the desired outcome.
Mr Mike O’Connell will listen to your requirements, carefully examine your nose, so as to identify your concerns and form a plan for the surgery. The operation from admission to follow up care is fully discussed and there is plenty of time for questions or to raise any points you may have.
When you leave, you will be provided with a contact number and forwarded a quote for the cost of the operation. Whilst websites provide valuable information, a consultation allows a more in-depth and personalised assessment of your wishes and also provides time to mention any matters you may want to directly discuss.

Digital modelling
During the consultation pictures are taken and should you wish, they can be digitally modified to provide an idea of what can be expected from rhinoplasty or pinnaplasty. The images are sent to you via email and will then be reviewed together at your next clinic appointment. These images provide a visual idea of the outcomes of surgery and also provide a further opportunity to ask further questions or raise concerns that you may have. A date for surgery is then arranged.
